PubMed Citations Climb to 15 Million

PubMed, the National Library of Meidicine’s online retrieval service for citations to biomedical articles, reached a major milestone by adding its 15 millionth citation. PubMed, the world’s largest database of biomedical information, was created by NLM’s National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in 1996.
