“Turning the Pages” Delights Anew with the Old and Rare

A new online version of the NLM’s popular Turning the Pages browser arrived in May, opening some of the National Library of Medicine’s oldest and rarest books to close-up, online enjoyment. The books include Conrad Gesner’s Historiae Animalium (Studies on Animals) and the 1585 edition of Ambroise Paré’s Oeuvres (Collected Works).

2005-2006 Associate Fellows Named

Six National Library of Medicine Associate Fellows for 2005-2006 were named in May and started their training at NLM in September.
