NLM Joins Digital Library Federation

The National Library of Medicine joined the Digital Library Federation (DLF) in July, becoming the 36th member of the collaborative initiative that also includes the Library of Congress, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), the British Library, Oxford University and major US research libraries.

The DLF identifies and implements strategies for building and preserving digital collections, and complements the NLM’s ongoing mission to collect, preserve and make accessible biomedical information.
