Researching women’s health issues is now easier, quicker and more inclusive with a new Web site that gathers information from scientific journals and reports on the latest developments related to women’s issues. 

NLM’s Division of Specialized Information Services (SIS), Office of Outreach and Special Populations partnered with the NIH Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH) to create the new Web site that came online in March. The latest on women’s health findings is spotlighted with user-friendly information and links to such other sources as ClinicalTrials.gov, PubMed, AIDSinfo, American Indian Health, Arctic Health, Household Products Database, MedlinePlus and NIHSeniorHealth.

ORWH Director Vivian W. Pinn, MD, notes there has long been a need for a reliable, user-friendly source of current scientific information about women’s health, sex/gender issues and clinical research.
