TOXMAP, the popular National Library of Medicine interactive Web site pinpointing by city, state and zip code the amount and location of certain toxic chemicals released into the environment has been updated with Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) data from 2007. Users can now save search results, and the site has improved zoom and toggle capabilities.
TOXMAP maps the chemicals reported to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as required by the Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA).
