You Can Help NIH with a Research Project

In response to President Obama’s directive to all federal agencies for greater transparency, public participation, and collaboration, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking input for its Consumer Health Information research project.

Information gathered will provide greater insight into the health information needs and information-seeking behaviors of NIH health consumer audiences. It will also assist NIH to develop and disseminate health, medical and scientific information to a wider variety of audiences.

The NIH Office of Communications and Public Liaison and the NIH Director’s Council of Public Representatives have developed a Consumer Health Information Requestion for Information (RFI) survey. You can complete the RFI online in English or download a copy in Spanish.
